Initial Situation:
The client approached N-VisionIT Interactive with a web business concept and asked us to develop the custom application that would realise his concept. He required web developers with algorithm expertise in order to realise his business model.
Our Role:
N-VisionIT Interactive was the sole supplier for this project. All tasks including project management, analysis of business flow and system requirements, design, development, and implementation of the system were completed by us.
N-VisionIT Interactive Solutions:
Based on our analysis of the clients business needs, we designed an appropriate data model and developed the web-database. Complex algorithms were used to match candidates' skills with employers requirements and identify the match percentage of the candidate. We included functionality to allow an employer to identify a percentage-match threshold for each skill in order to receive either fewer but more accurate matches, or a greater number of candidates with a greater variety of experience. The search algorithms were designed with performance in mind in order to deliver matches quickly even when the site has tens of thousands of jobs and candidates.
We also designed the website to be respond in realtime, notifying employers of matching candidates or changes to candidate information as soon as they are submitted.
We focused greatly on building for search optimisation because the client's marketing plan favours search engine traffic rather than traditional marketing efforts.
Results:
Client is pleased with design and functionality; his business is growing steadily as he signs up many employers in the industries that he targets.
If you need a web application or software developed you should be using N-VisionIT. They are capable of any software, graphics, or programming project and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. The highest of integrity & skill and highly recommended.

The Job Reporter
RETURN TO PORTFOLIO

The Job Reporter is a website for employers and job hunters to find each other. Employers post job listings and identify required or important industry skills and desired number of years of experience for each skill so that their listing will be easily searchable by potential candidates.
When candidates apply to jobs, they identify their goals, skills and experience. These terms are matched to the skills in the job listings, allowing candidates to apply for multiple jobs at once, and automatically sending employers the resumes of candidates who meet posted criteria.
Payment for job postings is accepted through the Authorize.net payment gateway.
