Initial Situation:
The client approached us looking to build the site from scratch.
Our Role:
N-VisionIT Interactive was responsible for all tasks; including project management, analysis of business flow and system requirements, development, and implementation of the system were completed by us, with the exception of the design, which was handled by a third party designer employed by the client.
N-VisionIT Interactive Solutions:
We have built a custom site that allows users to join the site and create their own lessons to share with others. The site is fully integrated with Limelight Networks (a multimedia hosting company) so that all videos, images, and audio files are hosted and streamed directly to Source440.com to ensure optimal load times and stability.
The site has been search engine optimized to ensure that lessons - not just the site itself - are catalogued by search engines to expand the audience of the site.
Results:
Since the beta release of the site and opening it to the general public, Source440 has seen its userbase grow consistently. More users are joining every day and adding to the already large library of instruments and lessons that are available on the site.

Source440.com is an educational resource for the self-teaching musician. The site provides users with a virtual education platform in the form of a multi-media lessons database as well as a platform for boundless communication between multiple generations of music teachers and students.
The site serves as a multi-generational social networking environment where members of all ages can communicate and learn together. Members are able to post lessons on a wide variety of musical skills and concepts as well as access a wide variety of musical skills and concepts.
